COCOA BROWNIES
Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
350g milk chocolate chips
60g cocoa powder
130g plain flour
1 pinch of salt
300g sugar
230g unsalted butter [melted]
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 eggs
Method
1) Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line the baking tin with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
2) Stir sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in a medium bowl.
3)Add flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder all at once and stir well without lumps. Add half of
the chocolate chips and spread the mixture in the baking tin.
4) Bake until the brownies begin to pull away from the edge of the pan and set in the center
[35 minutes].
5)Immediately after taking from oven sprinkle the remaining sweet chocolate chips and let stand until
the chips are melted.
6)Spread the melted chips evenly over the top of the brownies with a spatula.
7)Let the chocolate cool and then sprinkle with your favorite toppings and press the toppings gently into the chocolate to adhere.
8)Lift the brownies out of the pan with the foil and cool completely on a rack.
9)Cut into squares and serve.
